Although the weather hasn't been that bad the last few weeks it's always nice to have a winter getaway. Maybe to a warmer weather, maybe just to visit some family or friends. Either way, it's nice to break up the long winter by a quick vacation. February is a great time to travel because it's off season for tourists, plus airline tickets in general have been down.

I just went to Expedia.com and found rates from Seattle to San Fransico for $126, Seattle to LA for $146, and Seattle to Honolulu for $296. That's in the month of February.

So now is a great time to plan some vacations and get some excellent deals on tickets. I'm sure if you spent some more time looking around and comparing prices you could find even better deals! Happy traveling!

These days almost everyone I know is trying to save on money. Eating out is usually one of the first things to go when you're on a budget. I think it's important to allow room in your budget for fun so when I find a deal that makes eating out less expensive, I'm excited.

Have you heard of restaurant.com? It's pretty cool, you go to their site, plug in your zip code and they show you the restaurants in your area and the deals they are offering. There were several restaurants offering $10 gift certificates for $3.00, or $25 ones for the price of $10.00.

Since we live in Seattle we don't really think about going to The Space Needle unless we have company from out of town. Let's face it if you've been there before you don't really want to shell out $16 a person to go up there until I saw this AMAZING deal.

Right now, The Space Needle is offering a annual pass for a member and guest (that's 2 people to my understanding) to go up The Space Needle unlimited times for 1 year all for the price of $30, well actually 29.99. Normally the price for one trip is $16 per adult so this is an amazing deal. Normally this annual pass is $119.

We went ahead a got the annual pass since we plan on taking the kids up there for their birthday to the Space Noodle as they call it. So, for this deal visit here.
